Check near your doctor asap, it could me diabetes and you could be getting neuropathy. Diabetes is nothing to mess with it can hold your life and neuropathy that is really common with diabetics, But not adjectives diabetics have neuropathy or ever do. But what you said you may have both or diabetes. I own both and diabetes is bad, but the pain from neuropathy I enjoy is almost as much as I can take. Please see a doctor and get answer,if that doctor doen't speak about you what going on get another doctor. I had cramp in my feet and toes, I go to about 10 doctors bafore I found one that knew what he be doing. This was over 7 years and now my diabetes stay beneath controled most of the time. My neuropathy is getting worse all the time. I am in a wheelchair and I can't stand to go and get on my feet.I have have tumors on the bottom of my feet and my toes, I am taking meds. to try to save some of them. I enjoy bone damage in my ankles. My legs and foot and ankles pain is so mad some night, if I sleep at all. I wake up screaming because I am surrounded by so much pain. I have three different doctors newly for my neuropathy. I am not trying to scare you, I just want you to know a moment ago how bad this is and even worse. So please be tested asap. Lonnie
This sounds like Neuropothy. They enjoy some new drugs for this problem. You need to be seeing a Endocrinologist, He will know what to do for you.
I feel your pain. I too am a diabetic and have the same problem. I started taking Neurontin, which is for neuropathy in the legs and foot. I also have restless leg syndrome and take requip, which is wonderful. It works great! I can if truth be told get a good night sleep now since my legs aren't continually moving and cramping up. If your doctor is not addressing your problems approaching he should, then by all manner get an different doctor. You are the boss of your health, not your doctor. All he can do is support you. You are the only one who knows how your body feel. Watch your diet and exercise regularly and by all means, maintain your sugars in check. Good luck!!
This is a very uncertain sign that you are not getting enough circulation. For a diabetic, that could eventually mean losing a toe, foot, or leg. Please shift see a doctor and if you already have, see a different one who knows what he's doing, and acquire your diabetes more under control. Try alternative medicine as economically (find an alternative doctor in your area) to get your circulation better.
Ah! Red flag! Go to the doctor asap!

Diabetes is not something to mess around with. For one, you may not have your blood sugars regulated correctly and if you hurt your foot you could motive infection. It could be a circulation thing. I would rub it gently and elevate your foot above your heart, grab the phone while you're at it and make an appointment to see doc.

Also, hold you had your glucose/labs done lately? Are you exercising like you should, elevating foot regularly? Blood will rush to your feet on the computer for sure! Are you checking your blood and staying away from sugar and eating the correct diet? Keep it up!

Diabetes is serious. My grandfather died at 50, he be an alcoholic and did not regulate it and he had his legs eventually amputated. My aunt died of it a few years ago at 48. She didn't regulate it well any or see doctors as often as she should and she had a heart attack, go into a coma and died.

Sorry, not to scare you, but start taking care of yourself and seize help!
Do a better job of controlling your blood sugar and lose excess weight. Some knob elements to blood sugar control are: exercise, eating a diet with lots of vegetables, some intact grains and fruits, a little protein from fish or chicken, and bear some natural supplements. I've listed a few supplement recommendation on my informative little webpage, but there are lots more out there:
