Help me understand why you are asking this grill here and not addressing it to your doctor?? You are fasting for 12 1/2 hours. Did you not dream up to get this information before Ramadan begin??!! Source(s): I'm a nurse.
I would not stop taking it. And make sure that you talk to you doctor. That would be really frozen to be fasting for a month. It will throw your blood sugars all outta wak. I would only advise to be careful and conceivably they will switch your insulin for this month. Take care :)
I am a muslim doctor and I am telling you that YOU SHOULD NOT FAST RAMADAN EVER AGAIN. Diabetecs are exempted from fast as it harm them. In Islam there is a role of (no harm) and Quran say (do not kill yourself, Allah is merciful to you). All scholars agree that the sick necessitate not to fast. Instead feed one poor human being for each day you miss from Ramadan. GO BACK TO YOUR medication very soon.
the first thing and most important is to consult your dr.
