Diabetic supplies on long distance airflights?

was wondering what the procedure was at securityfor insulin viles and needles. Have to bring a months supply, and it have to be carry on...can't afford to have it packed like sardines in cargo, and possibly receive lost.
Answers:
The TSA allows you to take your insulin and needles on the plane with you.
To craft it easier I would put all your meds in a clear container next to your scripts in your carry-on and you need to claim it when you get to the security check points.
Best way to be sure is to contact the airline you are using. They may know how to make special exceptions for the insulin..;
As far as I know, you need to keep the insulin vials contained by their original boxes WITH THE RX STICKER ATTACHED. You also should have the artistic box(ex) from your syringes with the sticker also on it.

That should be it. A letter from your doc is a righteous safeguard, but not 100% necessary. If you are traveling overseas or to someplace where English is not the largest language, then try to provide translations of everything you own as well.
The TSA has a website that you can check. Also call your airline and speak next to them about the issue. You can't be denied lifeaving medication. I was competent to carry 2 Epi-Pens (injectable epinephrene on a flight as long as they were within the original container from the pharmacy and I had a doctor's minute.
the first thing is you involve a doctors pescribed explanation
in writing along with your prescription. you afterwards need a
medical alert bracelet and or i'd' tags.you will stipulation to show cause why it is imperitive that the needles and insulin be with you on the ship.the airlines have refrigerators to store insulin and they may have you check your needles beside a flight attendant.
