Have any diabetics have nouns on a coarse lacto-vegetarian diet?
I just got the book 80-10-10, and quality fantastic. My blood sugar is going down. It is hard to give up the fat though. Anybody else with diabetes doing this? I want to get past its sell-by date my meds!

a good diet for diabetic is not eating vegetables solely but you have to take protein . carbohydrates ,minerals and on form fats . the body needs a polite supply of nutrients so as to control and maintain the blood sugar.
Good luck on it...If you similar to the food and/or are willing to sacrifice all the other stuff, afterwards go ahead and tryit...what works for you may not work for others but as long as you are keeping your glucose under control and also avoiding high-ranking cholesterol (the bad one) then I guess is zilch wrong with trying he raw lacto-vegetarian diet...which I don't know exactly how it is...maybe you could try stir fry with olive grease and some seasoning...like vegetarian fajitas, you could use chili powder or other fajita seasoning. I am lacto-vegetarian and diabetic type 2, I have been lacto-vegetarian my whole life, but I still ate lots of carbs, so conceivably what you propose is a good alternative for me too. I should try researching more about it and see if I resembling it and if it works for me. Good luck again,

I have been considering this type of diet to oblige in my maintaince. I want to get sour my meds too. There is little evidence that a vegetarian let alone a lacto-vegetarian diet will cure or resolve diabetes. However the diet is very health and can serve to enhance the overall robustness of the diabetic. Have you spoken to a nutricianist about this? I would encourage this since this a virtuous topic.
