A grill give or take a few chicken pox contained by type 1 diabetics?

My boyfriend is diabetic, and he's also never had the chicken pox. he's 20 years old and I'm afraid that he'll win it and get really really sick! Do you think he'll be alright if he does obtain them?
Answers:
He should consider getting immunized against it. Varicella (chickenpox) can actually be worse surrounded by adults than children.

"Less than 5% of adults are at risk of having chickenpox. Most are immune because they have have chickenpox or the shot. However, when an adult has chickenpox, the infection can be more serious than it is within children"

I have seen adults hospitalized for it.

If he does go and get them, it will just be like getting a virus. He will own to check his sugars more often, and keep surrounded by touch with a Dr.
