I use Levimir and it is required to be refrigerated until first performance then can be kept 42 days at room temp. But my Dr says to hold it all in the fridge other. So who can be sure?
It depends. Some call for to be refridgerated. Others, once opened, can be kept at reasonable room warmth for several weeks because of the added preservatives in them. They working on insulin with newer preservatives that will not require any refridgeration even contained by very hot climates, which would make it more accessable to heaps diabetics in poor countries.
