If you want a natural remedy for lowering your blood sugar, perhaps you could try cinnamon. You can purchase it as capsule now, but it has proved decisive for many.
A total week at 550+? Don't wait, go to your nearest ER they can help out lower your sugar- this is very dangerous. I get worried when my husband's level goes to much above 200. If you hold been taking your meds and eating in good health, then there could be something else going on surrounded by your body- like an infection that can raise your glucose height.
Your blood sugar is way to big and is in the DANGER zone. You need to appointment your Dr. and get more insulin. It doesn't matter what time it is name your Dr. and get advise as to whether you should progress to the ER. I would go in if my blood sugar be that high and I also have type 1 diabetes.
Go to your doctor ASAP. If you are eating right and taking your insulin, high blood sugars can be a sign of infection or something else going on. A few years ago I have bg over 600 and could not determine reason. My dr. sent me to the ER and turned out I had have a heart attack. Source(s): 33 years type 1
Go to the doctor! When my sugar levels are like this I grasp all weird. If they're single for like a day I fix them and it's no trouble. But if it's be a week you need to see the doctor, and they can fix it, no big deal. Unless of couse 550 is just the thing for you. Around 170 is actually ideal for my body. That's freshly me.
