Type 1 Diabetic. How do you lose weightiness while taking insulin?
I need to lose 10-15 lbs. How can I lose weight while on insulin. I already exercise. I am 5'3'' and 128 lbs.
Answers:
Why would you do that? You are only 128 # and you reckon you need to lose 15 #?
You need to please speak to your doctor and discuss this surrounded by detail. Whatever you may be thinking--it could be unsafe. I am not implying that you're going to do anything unhealthy on purpose--but it's best to articulate to your doctor. Source(s): I am a nurse.
It can be very difficult. I cut my carb intake back and I lost a few pounds but it took several weeks. As soon as I ate 'normally' again, I gain some of it back.
Taking insulin make it difficult to lose weight. You will have to alter your diet and do lots of exercising
idk liz its hard i ate 600 calories a day for a month and individual lost 5 pounds it sucked i felt like i be dieing.
right now im 5'8 and 160lbs i exersize every day 2.
Watch your sugar closely and exercise more, don't cut your calories to much or your body will hang up on to them like your dieing and you won't lose weight. I recommend chitchat to a dietitian.
